Dr. Camille Forstadt is a veterinarian born and raised in Napa. Camille grew up on a ½ acre “farm” with all types of animals, tending to them all. From a very young age, she took on the responsibilities and duties to care for them. This was what shaped her passion for animals and their well-being. She also began horseback riding at 7 years old and has been an avid competitor in the sport of Three Day Eventing and show jumping ever since.
She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from University of California, Davis and then went on to obtain her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences. During her time in school, she began to take an interest in holistic/integrative medicine. On top of her studies, she became certified in veterinary acupuncture in both large and small animals from the Chi Institute in Florida. She plans to continue her education and become certified in herbal therapy and rehabilitation in the near future.
She believes that the fusion of both conventional and holistic treatments is essential for optimal health and well-being. Camille is focused on rehabilitation and integrative approaches to treatment and care.
Camille is thrilled to come back to the beautiful Napa Valley to work with Dr. Kim and provide this unique care to her patients. During her free time, you will most likely find her outside. Whether it be with her horses, Piper and Quinn, out skiing, surfing, or on a camping trip, she loves going on adventures. When it’s time to come inside, Camille loves spending time with her two cats Tabitha and Cleo, standard poodles Ruby and Sherman, and her beloved 20-year old cockatiel Sunny.
